1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / tote/purse bag on: January 16, 2008 11:00:17 PM
I made this bag for my boyfriend's sister for Christmas. I was really happy about how it turned out, so I thought I'd share. This was my first more purse type bag and probably the best, and longest handle I've made. The tree is a hand stamped piece of muslin from a stamp I made.

Hope y'all like.
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / rat hammock on: August 14, 2006 08:42:52 PM
I made a new hammock for my oldest rat, his cage was looking very boring.  Hammocks really are not complicated, but I really like this one because I used spiderman fabric and was able to use my eyelet plier.  I was able to hang it with some nice ribbon (luckily he isn't a chewer) because of the eyelets.  The top of the hammock is red fleece.
3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Bob Dylan on: August 14, 2006 08:33:15 PM
Watercolor piece I did for my best friend's boyfriend.  He is a big Bob Dylan fan, and I didn't have any money to get him a birthday present.
Entire piece (ignore the tape):

So, what do y'all think?
4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / watercolor and pen on: August 10, 2006 09:15:21 PM
Thought I show off some random watercolor and pen doodles I've done.
5  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / some stuff I'm working on on: August 06, 2006 08:17:37 PM
Thought I'd make my first official thread (outside the introduce yourself one) and post some things I'm currently working on.
This is a piece I'm doing for my mom because I will soon have a half brother (she is finally having a boy):

This is a piece I'm doing for fun:

Once I finish this part I'm going to continue the dragon's body and tail.
Each piece is 18" x 24" and is in pastel.
What do y'all think so far?  The robot is nearly complete, it needs to be cleaned up and cut.  The dragon still has a lot more to go.
