1  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: hangover food on: March 13, 2010 11:57:15 AM
Haha, ohh hangovers!

I have a two step process for them!

Walk in the door and hopefully be functional enough to make:

1) Banana pancakes smothered in butter and maple syrup with extra greasy turkey bacon (sometimes "making" these involves hitting up Golden Griddle down the street from where I end up drinking haha Tongue)

after a couple hours of sleep onto step two!
One toasted english muffin and butter with an equally as greasy omelette and cheese glued together with as much mustard and black pepper as humanly possible.

And of course lots of apple mango tea with lemon :]

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Starburst Clippie on: March 17, 2008 01:40:26 PM
So it takes me forever to make a bracelet... I lack the patience and the sweet tooth. But when you have friends sharing a pack of starburst candies in a boring class you can make a hairclip no prob! Fast and fun hehe.

My badly photo shopped "action shot" and the pin itself. I just noticed it's kind of hard to see the bobby pin underneath.. but that's what I used :0

9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: A Jillion Clippies! on: March 17, 2008 01:37:05 PM
I basically just put the amount of beads I wanted on the wire Smiley more beads means a slightly more curvy/bumpy/wavy frame, and less makes the whole thing look flatter.  In this case I just wanted almost flat... so I went with smaller amounts of beads per "bump" and wrapped the wire around the clip when I was done.
Hope that helps Smiley

Thanks for the comments everyone Smiley
ooh I would love to know how you made these.
I basically took a guitar pick I had and traced it onto the surface I wanted as many times as it would fit.  To get the smooth edges, I used a good ol' nail file!  Cheesy[/color]
