So I haven't made anything to sell but I would like to make some baby stuff to sell mostly locally and maybe some online.  One big thing I wanted to try my hand at was the grocery cart/highchair covers but someone told me that they were patented.  I know there are a ton of companies that make similar things and I have no intention on copying any of them, just looking at a cart and going from there.  How do I know if I'm in violation?

This question goes beyond just the covers, I would like to check whatever I may do in the future just to be on the safe side.  It seems so hard to find resources on this and the patent office website is a huge maze.  Where should I even begin?

Hi, I've been lurking for a while, and everyone here is AMAZING!  I could spend hours at a time just looking over all of the talent on here.
Anyway, my question is where can I find good, understated skull (or just halloweeny in general) fabrics online? an example of what I need is on this website http://www.rubyroxx.com/ (but you have to click on "The Fabrics" from the left menu, it won't go directly to the fabric page.)  So much of the spooky type stuff I find is a little gaudy and not quite as simple as I want.
