This is really impressive. Great work.

We can see how tiny your little bride and groom are -- but how big was your migraine when you finished? hah.  Cheesy I don't think I could make something that detailed and that small without some serious straining.

thanks! But honestly, making miniatures takes only three things
1. patience
2. practice
and
3. one of those magnifying glasses on a small stand, lol. It's invaluable!

Why didn't you put them on top?  It looks like they would fit under the size guidelines, all together.

BTW...is that you and your fiance?  And what your dress and flowers will look like?   That would be even better!

the two weren't really designed to go together--the coconut frosting has too rough of a surface, and won't hold the cake topper evenly.  But I have considered making a wedding cake to top with a cake topper Smiley

No, I'm afraid that's not us (my fiance is a tall, thin gent with black hair and I am a pudgy blonde). Though, that IS a little what my dress looks like  Grin

time to ask - what is an ATC?

even with a visual i am confused...

They're a REALLY fun little trend that's popular among artists right now.
If you'd like to know how to make them,
I made a quick tutorial some time ago.
You can find it here:

Or, search ebay for "ACEO", to shop 5 tons of tiny, affordable fine art.

It must've taken quite a lot of patience to get that frame right! I'm impressed

is that cake real?

Wow, what a compliment...thank you, but no,  everything you see is sculpted from fimo clay. If you experiment with different techniques you can really get a lot of different effects. If you'd like to know more, just ask  Wink

absolutely delicious!  and ever so sweet. . .what on earth did you use to press the plates into shape?

thanks! I'm always keeping my eyes open for texturing tools. I find that the flat end of a ball-point pen can make a great mold for small plates!
