i have a bunch of broken jewelry. i decided to fix some.
here is what i fixed tonight:
i fixed four chains: the longest one is a kinda box chain thingy and i didnt think i could fix it. i was surprised and kinda proud to have done it.

the shortest one is a choker.

i made a ring for my mother.

the stone is a dark turquoise (its an actual stone not plastic), the thick wire is pink and the small one is gold.

and with the remaining bits of chain i had, i made a ring for my best friend.


next step: mending my broken heart...

So this year my friends wanted me to be Jessica Rabbit for Halloween. My boyfriend (at the time) said if I did it he would be Roger Rabbit. I had never done a "couple costume" and I was kinda excited. I accepted the challenge and I made the costume.

Anyways.. Here is how i did it: I went to the goodwill (a thrift store) and I found red stripper shoes and a sparkly dress.
The dress had a high neck but it was pretty easy to remodel into Jessica's dress.
I just cut the top and made the slit.
The scarf came with the dress and i got the gloves at an other thrift shop.
I put a shoulder pad in each boob .

well i decided to get a mothers day present for my mommy and realized that easter and her own birthday came first....
I bought a nice purse that includes a padded pouch for for macbook.
I added a nice little silk scarf and i made a charm.
here it is:

i'm going to end up giving for candy for easter and the purse for her bday... i'll just find something else for mothers day... i have two months!

 
Ok so i finally decided i could NOT fit into my size 0 mini skirt. I got it for $2 at the thrift store and tried it on over my jeans. a bit snug but i figured it would fit. it did. if i hadn't eaten for 5 days (which i used to do cause i was too lazy to cook.)
it was very very short and i had to wear leggings or tights underneath.
I got sick of that. I took scraps of denim that i had left over from an other project. and i sewed a square of it to the edge of the skirt.

then i noticed the bottom sagged to much. so i just stitched the middle of the panel. accidentally making it perfect.
