Okay....... Anyone up for a swap called Craft my wish? We could partner people up and someone could give me their three wishes and their three best crafts and I could match people up that way. I would like to open signups now and close say december 8th.... and have sendouts on Jan 15th........ Any takers?

hehehehehhe I took one of my shirts that I never wear.... And reconned it for my youngest dd hehe I left the sleeves long on purpose. Because I want to give them a bell shape. I love the flowyness ;d of this fabric but could never wear it.... SO ideas? Please anyone! ?!? All coments, criticism etc appreciate.






 I was thinking about adding elastic to give the sleeves more of a bell look What do you guys think? Also the slits on the side bottom... leave em or leave one or what? Thanks for the input

Has anyone here had any success with wagglepop.com? I just ran into it for the first time and it is like a 'neat' ebay. no selling fee, no listing fee, no pic fee but a monthly fee of 9.95 ..... Any thoughts?

I, Diannab, made a circle skirt! For those that don't know me, I have been trying to make one for awhile and gave up completely frustrated and not understanding why I couldn't get it right........ Well wait no longer, because here is my first successful circle skirt (unhemmed ) and made with free fabric because I have already wasted so much fabric trying again and again and again! lol. To my surprise, the fabric I used is already in a tube So that was fun to work with lol hehehehehehehehehee hhe.....

I can't believe that I made something so simple into something so hard.... Shaking head.... I really can't but after being able to set in sleeves and sew bras, I knew I had to try and figure this out... Plus I want to make my girls the Anthropologie jacket in designer homage and to do that you have to make a bubble skirt and to do that you have to make a circle skirt LOL so please, tel me what you think! All comments welcome and greatly appreciated (how else would I learn ) LOL Oh, and the yoke turned out to be a twelve inch tube lol so I am debating about adding a top band and making it a dress. It is such a beautiful teal color I am so proud of myself!

Anyone have any more economic friendly suggestions or could point me in the directions of tutorials would be absolutely grand THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay all, I did a search for celtic crafting and turned up 25 pages of stuff mostly related to knitting/crocheting. Seeing that I am no good at those..... I am posing a question....

My hubby's family is of Irish decent and when his paternal gm passed away when he was a teen, pretty much all celtic crafts went with her SOooooooooooooooo.. ........ I would like to learn how to do all this. Learn how to do celtic knots, learn hot to do celtic knot dresses, how they do their intricate designs in their knot work and anything and everything else that pertains to Irish/Celtic Crafting. THanks guys. And excuse my idoidicy if this has already been posted.... I couldn't find it....

Okay, I did a search and couldn't pull back a whole lot of info.....
So, my neighbors are so sweet! They are always giving the girls cupcakes, dolls, etc. We take them their mail every weekday. So here is my dilemma: They gave the girls a set of pjs, each, and some cupcakes too...... They are so sweet. And they go out of their way to do all of this even though they are on a tight budget. The eldest of the two neighbors is prolly in her 80s or so and her daughter, who lives with her, is prolly in her 50s..... they have a cat.... and have children and grandchildren that all live out of state....... sooooooooo......... ........ any ideas?
I am good at:       cooking, sewing, painting, crafting.... just can't do any crochet (just learning), knitting, tatting, etc (cause I have no clue............) LOL So any suggestions are greatly appreciated! I always send a basket over full of homemade cookies, some blueberry streusel cobbler (from scratch) topped with ice cream, berry mix cake (from scratch).............. So, please give me some ideas!

Hey everyone! I just finished up the Mommy & Me swap and discovered I would like to be more in control of the crafting! LOL But I know that there is one swap where everyone exchanges packages for the kids... but what about a new spin on it.... what about one package swap a month...? Would that be too much of a commitment? Any ideas on how to get it to work out? I am sure it would be considered ongoing or something like that.... I just love crafting for children and could see a medium package getting sent out monthly..... Like (One medium and two smalls) or something to that effect.... Let me know what you think!?!

? I love it and am good with duct tape---- I made my own ducttape dummy quit nicely if I do say so for myself! I am trying to figure out in what order it should be constructed for the most durability.... my kids would be loading them down with junk and I would want the straps to be able to withstand repeated abuse!
