1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / T-shirt dress on: June 17, 2008 04:15:50 PM
Ok, so I finally got around to making a t-shirt dress for my DD. I love the ones I've seen on here & I have tons of t's that don't fit my ginormous post-baby chest anymore  Roll Eyes, so today I made her this...

And her model pose (yes, she's wearing 2 different shoes....hopefully it's a phase  Cheesy)

2  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / More baby blankets on: May 30, 2008 10:54:25 AM
So I've made a few of these for my little ones and decided that I would start making them for other's little ones too.  My DD carries her's around with her all over the house, wears it like a cape, covers her babydolls, you get the picture. I had a lady ask me to make two as gifts for some expecting friends, here they are... Let me know what you think!

3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Robot pants on: April 09, 2008 10:05:37 AM
Ok, ok this is the last one I promise! (I've been so busy w/the new bundle that I haven't gotten on here long enough to post, just long enough to lurk  Cheesy).

4  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Blankets on: April 09, 2008 10:03:44 AM
I figured this would be the right place to post this since DD tends to "wear" her blanket around the house  Wink.

I made this one for the little man:

And this one for my Buddha:

5  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Scarf for my little Buddha on: April 09, 2008 10:00:26 AM
My little girl wanted a scarf of her own this past winter, so I made her two! Unfortunately one is MIA  Roll Eyes.

6  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Baby bibs on: April 09, 2008 09:58:31 AM
One can never have enough bibs, so I made a few with some scrap fabric.

7  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Baby slings on: April 09, 2008 09:56:25 AM
I started making slings before my little man was born in anticipation of his arrival. I only wish that I would've made some of these for my DD when she was a baby!!

Reversible sling, black cotton inside & flannel space outside.

Flower sling. I was hankering for something bright & springy...

Basic black sling.

Even got Daddy into babywearing! Blue fish cotton sling.
8  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Reversible skull jumper shirt on: October 30, 2007 06:59:06 AM
Thanks to inspiration from Missmonkeymae, I've finally made my DD her very own version of the reversible jumper. Let me tell you, I've never used a pattern for making anything let alone make my own pattern....it's harder than it looks Wink! The whole thing didn't quite come out as I had planned, but I'm still pretty happy with the results. DD is extremely happy and wouldn't take it off for two days, lol! It took me a week or so to gather the nerve to make button holes, but they were surprisingly easy! Once I had the whole thing together, I realized how easy it really was & will make a few minor adjustments on the next ones.

Enjoy!!  Grin

10  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Highchair recovering questions on: May 21, 2007 08:57:32 AM
Ok, my little girl has almost completely demolished her highchair cushion & I'm going to make a new one for her (or at the very least re-cover the one she has). I've bought the vinyl (hot pink & silver, cool!), but I'm a little intimidated about sewing w/it. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for making this easier than I think it's going to be? TIA!!  Grin
