2  duct tape and records in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by orangetastic on: November 24, 2006 06:34:58 PM
everyone's record purses were so cute that i wanted to make one! it turned out a little pudgy, but i like it. i wouldn't recommend trying this though, i'm not sure if the tape is going to stick to the records for very long.

thanks for looking,
katy

5  fortune cookie fortunes and duct tape in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by orangetastic on: November 24, 2006 06:25:39 PM
i made this purse a while ago, it's not very well made and too narrow to hold almost anything...but i thought i'd share it anyway. it's black on one side and the side with the fortunes is clear packing tape.

i tried to take this picture so you could read the fortunes? i don't think you can though.

6  candyland bag! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by orangetastic on: August 04, 2006 01:15:41 PM
a while ago, when i first found this site, i saw a candyland board tote somewhere or other and loved it so much i went to a thrift store and found a candyland game. i just made one of my own, held together with, of course, duct tape (i don't really know how to use anything else...) it's bigger than i planned...but i still like it!

(um, yeah. kinda wrinkley. but this was my first try, i still have 3/4 of the board left!)

the fourth side has part of the instructions. plain black and white. not worth a picture.

and another one so you can see the handle...i cut apart one of those clear pages for sticking baseball cards in, taped two strips of the slots together, and put the cards for playing the game inside.

thanks for looking! Grin

unoriginal, i know.
i made a much cuter one for my cousin, but i didn't have a change to take pictures (it had a woven purple and white flap and a junior mints box on the front and back.)

the handle (the tabs from the box)

10  two woven duct tape purses (*first post*) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by orangetastic on: August 03, 2006 01:44:18 PM
hey, this is my first post!
these two purses are a little different than most of the duct tape purses i've seen on here, although craftster definitely inspired them.

this is the back of the pink and black one (the back of the green and yellow is the same as the front)
