This was super simple, quick and fun. I traced one of my fav purses and took about 2 and 1/2 inches off that to size it down. It's a good size fits my wallet, makeup bag and a knitting project or book. I found this cute rainbow heart fabric at Joann's in the red tag section.The lining and handle are just red cotton.

I finished this back in June. It is SO FAR from perfect for so many reasons but it was a great practice piece and  I absolutely love it! I will definitely keep trying my hand at quilting after this. I used White Cotton and there is red and aqua gingham and the border is aqua cotton and the aqua flower print fabric is unknown origin but very sheer and pretty and super soft. It fits a full sized bed with no room to spare for an idea at how big it is.
This quilt has proved to be exactly what I wanted it to be which is the PERFECT summer quilt light! Cozy but not over bear-ingly warm. Ok onto pics.

I made this as a Christmas present for my g-pa Because he uses a envelope to put his outgoing mail and grocery store cards in currently. The fabric I used I bought back home in Hawaii, it was originally intended for curtains I was going to make him. But since I ended up buying him curtains this summer I needed to find something else to make him.

Made with cotton fabric, as well as the heart appliqué. And I put a velcro closure, Because I am still practicing with scary zippers 
But I actually like it with the velcro more than I thought I would, So works out.

I knit this up in about a half a day with plain old red heart yarn.
It does have some mistakes here and there(first experience with lace stitch).....But it is so cozy and I love love it!!

It's about 4 rows of moss stitch on size 8 straights then lace rib on size 11 straights to achieve the big holes I wanted!

Staying in Belleview visiting the mom in law till end of July 07 and just wondering if there are any other craft stores besides Michaels and the rag shop near by or anything. Maybe a hidden treasure of a shop not listed or something
