1  Way to tiny [Pink Spiders] tee-shirt into a new bag! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by panic_paizlee on: July 03, 2008 10:58:48 PM
I bought a youth small tee-shirt at a concert the other day. It was only $5 and compaired to the shirts that would have fit me at $25 it was a steal! I <3 The Pink Spiders!
I roughly used thejordy's tutorial for a Jordy bag http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=32204.0, but my bag came out more round bottomed then square bottomed.  Wink I still love it though!

Before I cut it up:

In progress, because you can see the actual color of the lining:

And now all done!
The front:

The back:

The inside (And like I said the color is waaaaaay off here. The "in progress" picture show the color the best), I love this fabric:

The handy inside pocket:

And a not so great action picture:

My bag is a little lopsided, but you can't tell unless you look really hard. I love my new bag, but I might add a snap to close it. Smiley
Thank you for looking!

2  Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends! in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by panic_paizlee on: September 10, 2007 08:16:00 PM
I made this for the Foster's swap, but I couldn't help posting it here as well.... And so now that PatriaE has received my package I present to you.... CHEESE!

This picture is a little blurry, but you can see his hair (and my messy sewing table, haha):

And a reference picture:

Details: Cheese is made out of Caron simply soft in soft yellow. And his eyes are white felt. I think he is about 12in long, including his legs. Also, he has about four pipe cleaners in his neck, they have stuffing around them though. He's crocheted in the round, amigurumi style. I just made up the pattern as I went, but I think he came out even better then I could have imagined! It was pretty hard to give him away, haha.... So I'm making myself a Bloo-Cheese!! (Not that exciting, just the same pattern, but made out of blue yarn....)

Thank you for looking! Cheesy

Oh, man! Everything everyone has gotten so far is amazing!
And I received my package today from PatriaE!
I got a Mac shirt, little glass marble magnets, and a hot rod flames and bunny pencil/makeup bag!!
I can't wait to see what everyone else gets!
 Cheesy

Edit: Pictures!
They are kind of bad cause I had to use my cell phone.... If I can borrow my sisters camera I'll post better pictures, or if you have better pictures, PatriaE, you can post them... But on to the pictures!

Hot rod flames and Bunny bag:

And the magnets:

(these were hard to photograph.)
Again, thank you so much PatriaE!!

4  Plastic bag headbands! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by panic_paizlee on: June 27, 2007 01:13:21 AM
Thanks to jamiewatchthestars and her tutorial (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=178442.0) I made a few headbands! Out of plastic bags!
(Sorry the pictures are a bit large.....)
First one I made:

(It's not done yet... And I think it is a bit on the wide side... Haha)

This one has flowers on it! (I cut the flowers out of different bags and put a piece of white bag over that. And then ironed away.)

Still not wearable yet.... The flowers came out nice though...

But then I made this one:

This one has a layer of white over the color as well, but this one is actually done! I glued it on to a plastic headband I already had using hot glue.
And an 'action' shot!

I really like the way this one came out. I need to get a few more headbands to finish the other ones, but I couldn't handle not posting them!

I also made another one, but I got iron happy and melted the bag so much it is way too small for a headband! So I made a wristband!

I used velcro as a closure. I don't know how much I'll wear it. Because it kind of blends in with my skin and makes it just look like I have a weird checked fungus... Or something. And that is why there is no action shot for it... Hahaha.

Well, I think I found my new obsession of the moment! I think a lot of my friends are going to get headband presents for a while!

Thank you for looking! Comments are well appreciated!  Cheesy

5  Re: Yarn Swap for Rapunzel Scarf - Round 3 in The Swap Gallery by panic_paizlee on: June 05, 2007 07:42:24 PM
Sorry it took so long, but here is my scarf!

It's actually brighter in person, not as dull colored as it seems in this picture.
I love the way it came out! And the flower Iloveoctopus gave me worked perfectly too! I took some of the extra tarn I got and used it to tie the ends instead of knotting them.

Thank you everyone that sent me yarn!!

9  Fred Jones Part 2: ipod.... in Completed Projects by panic_paizlee on: December 26, 2006 10:19:28 PM
I made this last night, cause I was bored.... and wanted to make something, but I don't know where to post it so here seems good.
I got the Ben Folds cd 'Rockin' the Suburbs' for christmas, and it has the song 'Fred Jones part 2'. And I really like it and when I made this little guy I had that song stuck in my head.... and so his name is Mr. Jones!

I think he's pretty cute, but too happy for that song, but oh well.....
