thanks for such an easy to follow tutorial! i especially love the plastic bottle for boning... much cheaper and more economical than other things i've seen.

here's a really crappy drawing of how i did it. The purple line's a cut mark and then i sewed the little straps down/ the blue line's the lace-up material.

it's early, i can explain it better later, probably. 

...Because I made this shirt in like an hour. But I originally intended for it to be open and laced up in the back... and wore it the wrong way just to see how it looked and I like that better. I may alterr the front and then maybe wear the laces in the back. But tomorrow I'll wear this shirt to camp and see what kind of reactions I get. Well, before that, what kind of reactions will I get from craftster?

random question: candycanechild, do you fold/make your own envelopes or do you just use blank pre made envelopes?

i buy these cardstock/envelope packs that are at every craft store i've ever gone in. i use the ones it comes with. making them takes forever... and they're fine once you dye them, except the adhesive doesn't work and no one should attempt to lick them after the shaving cream's been on there. 

my favorite is the sunset picture. it's the only one, compositionally speaking, that follows all the rules. you positioned the dock on the left, not the center, of the photograph, and that's what makes it art. placing the center of the interest in the center of the photo is probably the last thing anyone should ever do... even though that doesn't seem like it makes sense. next time you go to shoot a picture of anything, try moving the camera so it's not in the middle anymore. it reallly makes for a pleasing photograph. other than that, you have a really good eye!

all of the black and whites are amazing. I love the two of the men you don't know... epspecially the salesman. the first portrait (of your friend) is really amazing... you really understand how to pose people the right way. did you go to school for that?

p.s. pentax cameras are amazing. i have one, too. i'm so sad the darkroom in a dying art, because i love making projection prints.
