22  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Winter Formal Dress {Kinda late} on: February 15, 2008 10:09:23 AM
Okay so back in December my boyfriend asked me to go to Winter Formal at his school. I had a month to make my dress. It has changed so much from the original sketch {Due to the fact the the fabric kept fraying so I had some major changes to make so it would'nt fall about on me} I'm really happy with how it came out though!

On to the pictures:

Boob Shot to show off the bust:

The straps are macrame, and the shrug thing I'm wearing I wore over it because I'm kinda modest.... It was made from a strip of fabric that my mom had... I just put it on, pinched, pinned and sewed where I wanted the sleeves to be and cut off the excess.

And one last parting shot!:

23  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Help, Fabric frays....and seems pop... on: January 21, 2008 02:12:06 PM
I had big seams when I started. It just frayed /that/ much. I dont think there is enough left to zigzag even the smallest of it all....but I'm going to try anyways....

bagh...

thanks though!

Okay, so I've been working on my dress for my Boyfriends winter formal. I'm done except the fabric frays horribly making the seams come undone. I've been fixing it as it goes but I seriously cant take it in anymore than what it already is {my b cup b boobs already look like As or AAs... Shocked} Help? Cry

Thank you very much  Grin

The 'shirt' is actually an underbust corset, or at least its supposed to be, made out of duct tape.

I hope this is the right board...

One of the days for my high schools homecoming week this year was Duct Tape Day {!!!!!!!!} So of course I went as all out as my budget would allow and I still needed to borrow cash from mom to finish the corset. I know this is late but I just got the pics from my mom.

I made :
:An Underbust Corset
:Purse http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=214164.0
:My Headband {out of a plastic visor, I just cut off the visor part and wrapped tape around it :]}
:Shoes!
:Ring, Bracelets
:Tie
:And I put duct tape on an old pair of jeans

ON TO THE PICTURES!
