Because I have been neglecting to take pictures u.u

But Now I have some! AND! I will be back with more tomorrow! n.n

Anyways.

First up, My Studebaker Tee.

An old shirt of my grandfathers {RIP<3} That I resized and added hand-stitched x's down the sides and on the sleeves.

Number 2, My 'Things You Learn From Video Games' dress.

I took my 'TYLFVG' tee, took it in and added a pleated skirt around the bottom hem and a hood to create this dress which is popular with everyone at my school.

Numero tres, Art Club halter.

I took my huge Art Club tee, cut the front and the back sepparetly and then sewed them together. I then took the sleeves apart and cut matching triangles out of each of them to use for the upper bodice {those are too small and flimsy to actually cover my boobs}  and sewed long strips of extra fabric at the top point to create the ties.

Last one for today.

My diono hoodie!
Yeah I know this is late but its been done for almost a year now and was my very popular halloween costume. I took an old hoodie from my third grade year and put navy inserts in the sleeves to make them longer, added the spikes and hand painted the front and back. And I added thumb holes n.n. The back I painted a heart with a dino and the front I painted Look look im a dino in Spanish.

And the reason why Kegan and I had to stop taking pictures, the sunset.

13  A couple skirts in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by x-xThe_Stitchingsx-x on: July 02, 2007 09:09:38 AM
They're just standard circle skirts.

First one:

Two layers out of a burgandy fabric with a brown checkered waistband. I believe there are some pleats in this. Side zip and double button closure.

Second one:

Two layers out of a brightly colored plaid with a brown waist band. Side zip.

So the new art teacher {way better than the other one who talked to spiders and thought there were ghosts in senior hall.} started art club and now we're painting a mural on the back wall of the art room, in the new school {its barely a year old}

This was the original plan

The outline {yey me in stripes!!}

And this is what it became when we got bored

The principal is super ticked that we did more than what we said. but watever. I will soon post pics of the coloring of it.

P.S. sorry for the blurriness, you cant blame me though, Kegz took the pics.

YEY FOR COLOR!!!

We're almost done, I just gotta fix my rainbow {it looks like poo} and Ani wants to fix the duck {our mascott, the schools just the clubs}

17  Myssi's take on Pants -> Skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by x-xThe_Stitchingsx-x on: December 09, 2006 05:37:07 PM
Whoopsie I guess, I made this...well....I started in August I think....and lets see...homecoming was in September...So I finished it about the end of September {Due to homework, boyfriend, and complete lack of motivation} Anyways, it was a pair of gorgeous plaid pants that my sisters ex boyfriend's older sister had given me. The only problem was that they were too big. So I took of the waist band and came up with this, {Please excuse the mess! Embarrassed}:

{Before, on my bed}

{Front}

{Back}

I shorted up the waist band to fit me and made a new button hole. I also used silk-like black material I had leftover from a project like...3 years ago and torquoise thread just because it was a pretty color. I'm also working on a petticoat to wear underneath to make it puff up. Cheesy

Thanks for looking!
Myssi

P.S. theres some action shots in this post->>http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=149768.0

19  Grandma's Old Jean Jacket in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by x-xThe_Stitchingsx-x on: August 01, 2006 08:38:38 PM
Okay so my grandmother gave me this jean jacket, never worn, and told me to make it into something for myself because it didn't fit her. The only problem I had with it was 1. it was boring 2. the brand name was all over it and 3. the sleeves were too short.

Number three was fixed first. I took off the sleeves and sew in a piece of black fabric.
Number one was fixed by adding little touches to make it mine{i.e. An old sugar sack safety pinned to the back, buttons, running a chord down the sleeves for a corset effect, etc.}
Number two can't be fixed but I don't care anymore.
