11  Reversable Paisley Tote Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by SanAntonioLauri on: November 11, 2006 10:24:55 AM

This was the first reversable tote bag I made, because I love this paisley fabric so much!  The colors are perfect, and when I did the outside, I decided I wanted the inside to be usable for the outside also, so that I could have 2 bags with the same fabric but different looks.  So this is what turned out.

12  Reversable Tote Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by SanAntonioLauri on: November 11, 2006 10:16:52 AM

OK-just ignore the skirt...or not, but I know it goes in clothing, it's just the only picture I have with that tote bag in it...

I made this for my daughter...it's a reversable tote bag to match the skirt, and I thought it came out really cute!

13  Little Girls Skirt and Matching ToteBag in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by SanAntonioLauri on: November 11, 2006 10:11:08 AM

This is a pair of blue jeans that I turned into a skirt.  Of course it just had to have a matching tote bag...or two (lol!) so I made the tote bag reversable.

17  Baby Blanket, Bib and Burp Cloth Set in Quilting: Completed Projects by SanAntonioLauri on: September 19, 2006 07:38:33 AM
A friend asked me to make this set for her niece, who is having her first baby.  It is the cutest safari print...the blanket is backed with sage green chenille, but the bib and burp cloth are backed with/reversable to a zebra print, which is quilted.  I quilted all of the black stripes, and that was the hardest part!

This view shows the opposite/zebra side of the burp cloth and the safari side of the bib.

And my new 'munkeepod' label!

18  Pincushion for Pincushion Challenge in Completed Projects by SanAntonioLauri on: September 08, 2006 02:33:10 PM
There is a Pincushion Challenge group on flickr.  The August-September theme was to recycle something into a pincushion.

I cut off the cuff end of a sleeve I bought from Goodwill a while back because I liked the fabric.  Sewed up the opening I had just cut, and left the button part open.  Made a little plain pincushion out of muslin to fit inside the cuff, slipped it in and buttoned it up.  I thought it turned out kinda cute.

19  Quilted Purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by SanAntonioLauri on: September 08, 2006 12:37:07 PM
I made this purse for a friend because, everytime she gets a gift from her kids, it's usually like Bath & Bodyworks stuff, then they steal it back from her!  Damn teenagers! lol!  I figure if she keeps her stuff in this, they can't really take it away...lol!

Outside of the bag...

Inside view with pocket...
