EEK I just got my package from chimerix! So cute I will post a picture as soon as I can find my camera. (stupid moving) But I will tell you what I got. I got Bloo, Mac, and Edurado beaded keychains. A pair of super cute earrings one is coco and one is Ed. And I got a binder that she drew a bunch of Foster's characters all over it! I love all of it thank you so much!

4  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Re: Locher's dirty wearable emboridery on: June 08, 2007 09:10:59 AM
I'm going to have to learn how to embroider now. These are hilarious and I love that white shirt too. Too bad they only go up to a size large or else I would probably just buy one
5  CLOTHING / Costumes: Discussion and Questions / Re: Costume pattern question! on: February 02, 2007 01:22:40 PM
Really? most of the big 3 have larger patterns but if you can't find anything I suggest either going to www.renaissancefest ival.com and going to the sewing section of the forums. They are really nice and helpful and know a lot more than I do. Or http://www.elizabethstewartclark.com/GAMC/FP/index.htm these you can adjust to your size. This one is an italian style dress http://ilaria.veltri.tripod.com/italiandress.html There is a site that creates a pattern for a corset based on your measurements but I can't find it for the life of me. I've lost the link! Anyway happy garbing! I love Ren Festivals!
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Vest-ish pattern? on: November 09, 2006 10:44:47 AM
Have you checked out some costume patterns? Sometimes they have vests and things like you are looking for. I remember seeing one recently. I will have a look.

You could just sew the side panels together instead of having the lace up sides.

This isn't an underbust but it could be altered pretty easily I think if you wanted a closed front.

I am so sure that I saw a costume pattern with a vest like you want but I can't find the exact one sorry.
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Mega comfy pj pants? on: November 03, 2006 10:21:43 AM
I made really comfy pj pants from a pattern for belly dance pants. I just left out the elastic from the bottom
8  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Halloween!!!!! on: October 06, 2006 02:56:58 PM
This year I am going as an absinthe faerie. Pretty easy right? Not so much when I can't find lime green fabric! I am so frustrated with I could scream.
Meomagalie: Georgeous gown! I would love to make that too but right now it would be too labor intensive for me. Good luck if you decide to make it.
9  CLOTHING / Clothing Sewalongs / Re: Costume-a-long on: September 11, 2006 02:46:27 PM
Wow and I thought I was getting an early start. You guys have already finished some costumes. Well I am going as an absinthe faerie but god help me I can't find the fabric I want. Oh well I will keep searching. I am using pattern 4046 http://www.simplicity.com/index.cfm?all=Y&cat=4&type=19&sec=44&startrow=1 sorry I couldn't figure out how to add a picture. I am also using this pattern to do my non-historically acurate but sexy pirate for Snowdown but that isn't till Feburary so I don't have to start that one any time soon. Good luck on all your costumes and if I ever finish mine I will post a pic.
