I'm posting for GoldenSunshine, she's been super busy so I thought I'd go ahead and post.

She said that she would love a hoop that says One Day at a Time. She also reads Braille and ASL, so I thought I would embroider the saying in Braille! I really hope it's actually readable. I was very nervous because this is my first actual hoop! Anyway, onto the pictures:

and got all excited that someone would make a Tenacious D project, but alas.... Still an awesome pen case!

Love everything so far!!!   I received today from ChrisSews. A package of an awesome sugar skull key fob and jewelry supplies including ear wires, which I was desperate for!  Unfortunately, I can't provide an action shot of the key fob because my new car decided to stop accelerating after taking it through a small creek while camping this weekend. However, when I do get my car back, the fob will look perfect on it!!  Thanks so much Chris!

Well, maybe not....

This is my first EVER embroidery project. I got a "learn to embroider" kit from the amazing TroubleT in the Ongoing Wish Swap and decided to finally get over my jitters and try it. She had sent me this amazing squirrel pattern (she found the eyes super creepy!) so I sat down and followed her directions.

He is stitched using chain stitch, back stitch, satin stitch. I tinted him with crayons and sewed a green ribbon on for an added effect. I'm really proud of my first attempt and already have about a hundred ideas on what to do next!

Just wanted to post my first hoop that I made with the kit TroubleT sent!  There are a few flaws but I'm so proud of it! Most of the project is chain stitch with some satin stitch. I sewed a ribbon on for the bow.

Everything this round is so great! I have been spoiled again, this time by PhoenixFire, I received a necklace straight off my Pintrest!  This necklace is so beautiful and lies so well on my neck/chest!  I LOVE it!

This weekend my boyfriend and I decided to take an impromptu trip to the beach. Coming back last night, after driving for ten hours, I checked the mailbox and found two awesome packages in there! 

First my package from A2K:
A beautiful crochet hook roll and some awesome fabric!

A bounty of jewelry supplies. Seriously, I am spoiled with the amount of awesome stuff in this package, there are charms, sterling silver chain (and lots of it), crystals, new beading string and wire.... Seriously, sooo much stuff!
