What's a craft crawl?!

It's kinda like a pub crawl, but with vintage, thrift and small boutique craft stores instead.  East Dallas is a very artistic area and there are tons of really cool little shops.  The theory is that we meet up someplace easy to get to (like the Mockingbird Dart station so folks could take the train in), and head off in a car big enough to hold whoever shows up.  Lots of shopping, looking, and hopefully a little gelato in there somewhere.  And lots of ideas on the back end.

21st works for me.  I could pick up east or south of Dallas, if not too far out woot.

We're starting to cover the whole geographic area.

Do we still want to think about a craft shop crawl later this summer or early fall?  I'd love to be able to plan one around one of the craft shows in Dallas.  Make Studio does one 3 or 4 times a year and they're really cool.

I've finally found my camera cable, so will be posting pictures of Reggie the Gnome's travels soon.  He came home with the greatest tote bag ever for me and a few new outfits which made me really wonder what he was up to.

I can probably post a few pics of Bella's grand adventure for Crazyqt13 too.

We can do it at the meet up.  Probably won't have it that far along until then anyway.

The 14th works for me.  RM, you willing to try on the WIP before the boning goes in?

Hi kids!

Sorry that the sent list is a little out of date.  I've been SWAMPED at work and had to make another last minute trip.  I PROMISE that I'll have the list updated tomorrow morning (as I'm working from home and what they don't know won't hurt them Wink)

I've gotten lots of cool stuff that I will also post tomorrow.  I keep telling myself that I need to sit the next round out, due to work load.  Then the postperson keeps delivering cool stuff.

Hello.  My name is Serialcrafter and I'm a swapaholic.

OK sweat shop swappers, I need your assistance.  I was in the middle of updating the sent page and my internet died.  Now I've lost some of the emails saying who has sent.  Can you please do me a favor and check the sent list on page one and let me know of anything that you've sent that is not showing as sent.

Thanks!

I'm all done with my crafting and sent out most of my packages, so I'm green but not updated on the first page yet.

I'll be sending out my last three packages on Wedneday.

OMG!  Can't we at least get the round 9 stuff in the mail first? Grin

I may actually have to limit myself to 5 items for the next round.  I know you're going to make it hard for me though.

So what's a good rule of thumb before you repeat an item?  Three rounds?

There are almost 200 pictures for Bella (about half have her in them) along with a couple of movies, so I'm putting all the digital stuff on a CD, hopefully in some sense or order.  I got a good portion of the scrapbook done last night during a power failure with about 6 booklights providing my light source.  Now I need to look at it in the light of day and make sure I didn't do anything weird!

I'm hoping to be able to send out sometime next week.  I know Reggie will be a few days late getting home because he wanted to have one last party.  Can't really blame him.  He's always up for a party. Cheesy

I'm really going to miss Bella though.  She was such fun to have around and caused me to do some hometown stuff that I don't normally do.  I agree that two months is the perfect time frame for this swap.
