Here is the embroidery and a hint of the lining for the Sublime Stitch Zippered Pouches.  Still need to put them together this weekend:

We have orange Purl Girl, pink Purl Girl, turquoise Cherries, yellow Sewing Stuff, and the purple skull.
Hippie Chic Hair Clips

These are great for short and long hair, pony tail bling, etc.  Colors are pretty true except for the one on the far right.  That's actually clear AB tubes.

Now I wonder where Bella could be going?

Bella, I don't think we're in Texas anymore!

Bella has had so much fun going with us on our adventures and other fun outings.  Mama's Daughter's Diner is a staple for great breakfasts and pies in Dallas, so here's a picture with Mama's Daughter.  Yep, this restaurant has been around for a while! Grin

Bella was on her best behavior and even saved some biscuits and gravy for hubby and me!  She was a little tired (notice she's napping on Hubby's shoulder) from her wild Flamingo stampede!

We're having such great adventures together!

OMG!  I got my eye pillow from stacysews!  It's so awesome.  I showed my hubby and he immediately stole it.  So in retaliation, I told him he had to model it.

I received my awesome package from Conley a few days ago, but have been traveling and am just now able to post pictures.

Here's the whole booty:

Now here's the full list with the notes that came with each item:

2 skeins of purple cotton yard with the following note:
With as many appetites as those who live in the unseen university, all collected in one place, you need to keep "things" on hand.  Things like cheese, antifungal cream, and sheep.  Yet, as with all things around the UU, the Magic leakage can affect them in odd ways.  For example, the sheep already come in colors before shearing and have somehow made their wool unscratchy for wizard socks.    Sadly,  85% of each sheep is plastic - but it makes storing them easier.*

*Provided you burp them first**
**Don't ask about the antifungal cream***
***or the cheese.

Knitting and Crochet needles:
Nannyism #142 - Springtime is a good time to learn new skills*

*and when you can't learn those skills you can always look into knitting or crocheting.

A knitted lip balm cozy:

Nannyism #227 - If you are going to explore the "wilds" on Lancre, you should always carry lip balm to avoid chapped lips.*

* it's handy when you leave the bedroom too.

Magrat's Herb Gathering Bag and lots of lavender goodness inside:

Nannyism #72 - Sometimes, after a roll in the lavender - you want to make sure you actually smell of lavender*

*you know, before your next roll in the lavender.

This was all so wonderful.  I was laughing so hard at the notes that I could hardly see all the wonderful stuff that Conley sent me at first.

In addition, she sent me some awesome purple leopard print fabric that she was going to make a rice heating bag out of, but her sewing machine crapped out.  That's OK, I've got plans for that fabric!

Thank You Conley!!!!!!!!!!!!  You are an absolutely wonderful swap partner!!!!  I love it all (especially the purple stuff and the bag*)**

*and I know how hard it was for you to let go of something blue!
**and that means EVERYTHING in the box!

Bella has arrived, just in time to keep me company on a road trip to Houston tomorrow!

She was so happy to disembark from her travels.  She couldn't believe the flowers that were blooming in TX!  She even did a high kick!

She also ran into a few of her friends from the future.  She's already making herself right at home!

7  Re: Sweat Shoppe Swap Round 8! closes March 14th in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by serialcrafter on: March 12, 2007 01:31:05 PM
Also, a little trick. If you're posting links to your pictures instead of actual pictures, include the phrase IMG in your post, and it'll show up when we click the 'show all pictures' button.  That way we don't miss your pictures just because they aren't in this thread!

Great Tip!

So here are my two offerings.

craft aprons (fabric will vary)

and ankle bracelets (cause Spring Sandals are almost here!)
[
the ankle bracelets are 11inches long, cause you can always take out links.  I don't want them to be too small for anyone.

This swap is SO wonderful.  I've changed my list about 17 times now.  Personal swaps are in my future, I can tell.

Here is Reggie the Roaming Gnome saying goodbye to his friends in Dallas to go and visit crazyqt13 in Philadelphia!  He's never been to Philadelphia before and is SO excited.  He's repacked his suitcase 3 times and he only has the one outfit.  Go figure!

I just know he's going to have a great time!  He really wants to see the Rodin museum if he can.

Well, here's a few very bad pictures of what I sent Psyche.  I hope she's able to upload some better ones.  This is just some of the stuff.  I didn't take pictures of the books or magazines or the yummy Moon Pie (kind of a prepackaged S'more for the non-southerner's in the house).  Nothin like a Moon Pie and Dr. Pepper (you TX folks know what I mean).

The big item was a corset.  I loved this fabric so much that I still have 3 yards left after making this.  First time I've tried to make something long distance from measurements.  Turned out a little baggy at the top though.  I'm hoping she's able to just take up the hooks and make it fit better.

and the back

next up, her craft apron with 8 pockets

And for the storage, I present the fabric box...

and the IKEA find (best hanging storage for crafty stuff ever!)

It was SO much fun working on all of this.  I had such a hard time limiting myself (as you can see).  I just love making stuff for other people though!  Way more fun than making stuff for myself.
