OK... here's a group shot of all my received blocks...

I believe that I'm only waiting on the Galloway's...  =)  I'm not sure about placement or sashing at this point, if there are any good quilt finishing tutes out there I'd sure appreciate a link!  I've only ever finished two small baby quilts myself(other's I've finished the tops and then sent out) and they were kinda wonky...

I just love seeing everyone's blocks together!!!

26  Messenger Purse and Project Tote Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by glittergirl94 on: June 29, 2008 02:26:15 PM
Spent a good part of the morning at my sewing machine today...  The results...

Both are for my Mumma... we picked out the fabrics together and I sewed them up.  No patterns, just me.  The smaller one is a project tote; for smaller knitting or crochet projects.  The long skinny strap is for either wearing across your body or knotting and then hanging off your wrist.  It's reversible too.  The other is a Messenger Purse.  There are pockets on all four outside sides, the two larger inside sides, and on the front flap.  Fully lined and the purple lining has fusible interfacing for strength and stability.  Here are a few more pics of each bag.

Thanks for looking!  Comments, questions, and critique are always appreciated.

I'm all caught up!  I finished my own block... you all would have laughed at me trying to select where I should place the fussy cut pieces in the patterned fabric... took forever!  But I think it was worth it...

I can't wait to get MimiW's fabrics!  That's a great looking block FlashleyAshley!
