1  clapotis and hat in Knitting: Completed Projects by lillizzyl on: March 09, 2007 04:31:35 PM
so i finished these a little while back, but haven't gotten to upload til now.  both done in caron simply soft shadows...i have no plan on wearing them together, i was just using up the clapotis leftovers.

phew, the clapotis took forever.  the hat is tragicheroine's big blue beret pattern.  thanks for looking!

i actually finished a a while ago, but i haven't gotten to upload the pics....until now!  my own big blue beret...

i have mixed feelings.  the top came out a little strangely, partly because the colorway makes it looks like i have a sunburst coming out of my head.  but i still like it anyway.

hmm... maybe le slouch next?

so i have officially cast on!  i'm making my own big blue beret using some Caron Simply Soft Shadows that i had left over from my last project (i'm using this KAL as a stashbuster as well).  i've just finished the brim.

what a cute little donut of yarn you are!

if this turns out well it will open up a floodgate of hat making by me.  hopefully my friends will want some slouchy hats as well...

So a dear friend of mine requested the ridiculously long scarf from Dr. Who and I had to oblige.

pattern from http://www.doctorwhoscarf.com/

it came out way bigger than it was supposed to, but i am happy with the results as is the recipient which is really all that matters!
