I love patchwork so much that I just had to make myself a dress. A patchwork dress for the hippiest festival out of all hippie festivals. All of it is cotton except the bodice and straps which are green velvet.
This was my first shirt with sleeves. i was always terrified, but it's actually not that hard. i think it turned out ok for my first one. the fabric is stretchy, and the dots are just the same fabric turned inside out.
and my boobs are not that big, i only had a vintage corset mannequin to display it on!!
i covered an 12x18 canvas with acrylic paint, and glued a jellyfish photo that i found out of a magazine. i then cut out fish "bones" out of pink translucent paper and glued them ontop. last i swirled black lava medium around the canvas to give the illusion of tiny dots. Thanks for looking!!
i used a combination of glass, plastic, metal, stone and lampwork (red pigs) beads for these projects. i'm addicted to making earrings. i'll probably take single pics of each one so you can see them better. the small metal drops are a star and crescent moon, but you can't tell in the picture.
