15  i love thrift stores and zig zag stitches in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by pixie5 on: June 25, 2008 05:12:41 PM
two king size pillow cases make up this skirt. i was so happy when i found them, cause the eyelet edging was already on! i just used a crazy asymmetrical zigzag stitch to connect them, and used some of the left over edging for a pocket.

i love hippie clothes and so far that's all i have been making. this shirt is so comfortable, that i might not add a neckstrap. The back is just tied with a few strings, and there is a pocket up top.

17  electro shorts from a simplicity pattern in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by pixie5 on: June 25, 2008 05:04:09 PM
bright!! right??

I wanted to use some cheap fabric for my first pair of shorts. They are extremely thin, but really comfortable. They aren't quite finshed, but i only have the waistband and hemmimg to do. Putting in a zipper with a flap wasn't that hard, just tedious. I'm not scared to make pants any more!!!!
