how did you get your toes so neat? I made a few of these as gifts and have had trouble getting them sewn up neatly?

God. Who knew there was lead in these things?!?!?! I made one as a high school freshman and  I wore it until it fell off ... 4+ years later !! This could explain a lot though... Shocked
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Anthropologie-inspired capelet + Tutorial! on: December 24, 2005 08:21:13 AM
Question. I just started this last night, and am working on the raglan increases. I was wondering 2 things... 1) Are they proper sleeves that have to be seamed at some point, or is this more of a short poncho type thing. 2) When increasing to the point of your arm circumfrence, are you measuring the distance between the holes made by the yo's or the length. Thanks for any direction you can provide.
Also, Merry Christmas Eve.
4  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: last minute knitalong- winter knitty's "Kate" on: December 21, 2005 07:01:57 PM
I loved this  pattern straight away too. I have made 2 already, one for my nearly 2 year old son, and one for my new goddaughter. My sons Kate was wearing burgundy and yellow stripes with a brown body, and for little miss thing, I used the same colors as the pattern, but went down a needle size. They knit up rather quickly, and are truly fun to see them take shape before your eyes. I will try to post a pic in a few days. I'm a bit busy with the holidays presently...

6  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Show off your hair! on: September 17, 2005 09:46:25 PM
Thanks for the link to photobucket and the hairfiles. I have been looking for a picture to help me articulate the ideas I have that I can never explain to a stylist. I am now rocking the best hair I have had in a very long time....
