this is a really simple project, but I hope you like it!

I used the Amy Butler In Stitches book, I've made a couple of things from there before and its really good for beginners.

my binding isn't great, but hey, its just a potholder Cheesy

4  My first quilt! Baby pram quilt in Quilting: Completed Projects by azmiat on: February 05, 2009 02:51:35 PM
hi, just wanted to show you my first quilt, it's just a simple baby quilt I designed myself using strips of Freshcut fabric. The binding took forever, is there a trick to it or does everything just do it by hand too?

5  Turn a Square Hat and Baby version with pattern notes! in Knitting: Completed Projects by azmiat on: January 23, 2009 11:41:33 AM
I made a hat for my DH using the Turn a Square pattern by Brooklyn Tweed. I used Noro Cash Iroha andf Rowan Pure Wool Aran. I also made a matching hat for my baby and I think they turned out pretty good Smiley

I basically reduced the pattern by 1/3 to make the baby version, my son is 6 months and it fits him perfectly. There's a bit more info on my blog, but pattern notes as follows:
CO 64 st with smaller needles and knit in 22 rib for 1″ (or as long as you like).

Knit one row in stocking stitch, increasing by 8 stitches, then continue as per pattern, alternating stripes, until hat measures 3.5″.

K18, pm across round.

Decrease as set in pattern.

7  Cable Luxe Tunic KAL? in Knitalongs by azmiat on: October 04, 2007 01:35:53 AM
I absolutely love this pattern by Lionbrand, it's a knock-off of a designer sweater by Pringle. It comes in a dress and tunic (waist) length. Here's a photo:

It looks like a fun winter knit, with interesting details - anyone in? I've got more details of the construction on my http://knitmedic.blogspot.com

Hi, I knit the first of my Fetching mittens a few days ago..here's a pic

They're a little bit loose so I think the English winter winds will manage to find their way to my knuckles..otherwise I really enjoyed knitting them - my first project with dpns and cables!

Hi, I'm new to craftster but have been looking at everyone else's gorgeous FOs for a couple of months now. I knitted these baby booties using the pattern in Erika Knight's Baby Bloom book - they were a fun knit and so cute!
