i might have put the abe lincoln as white on black instead

I would have, but she only wears black shirts. In person, the image pops out. For whatever reason, the pic made it look funky.

Being that it was my first time ever making and using a stencil, I went to JoAnns and picked up the first thing that said Fabric Paint. It was $1.29 a bottle and I got 2 white, 2 black. I really wasnt sure how much I was going to use per shirt. Turns out, a little goes a long way.
For the Pirates logo, I was very gentle. I brushed the first run and then lifted a corner. I think I fudged it a bit. Then I did a second coat and painted it a bit harder with more paint. Then I left the stencil on for a bit. Whoops. It sticks after a while. So I had to peel it off.

Abe was a brush and run. I was really tired and wanted to get the thing done for my sis to wear the next day cause I promised her SO this time I squeezed a bunch of paint onto the stencil and finger brushed the paint in twice without lifting the stencil. Then I swirled the paint around again to make sure I got it all. RIGHT after that, I peeled it off. Viola. So easy. I love it. I want to stencil AAAALL my clothes now. Hehe. Its good fun

My first attempt at stenciling was for my Pirates of  the Caribbean swap. This is what I made for my swap partner. It's on the left shoulder part of the shirt.

My 13 year old sister was so impressed by it that she asked me to do this one...

I have NO CLUE why she wanted Abe Lincoln but she did and she loves it. Hahaha. People ask her, why? She says cause its cool.

I guess she sure showed them  =)   Not too shabby, aye?

Thanks a ton for posting pictures for me! I'm gonna elaborate on yours and show some more of the awesomeness!!
((BTW the little skull guy came out a LOT better than the picture on the package. Never would've thought to use it as a pin cushion hehe))

Full View of the AMAZING! punched bag. The jewelry around it was a great touch. I get a lot of comments on this guy.

Close up of one of the pages. The others had CUTE little parrots with eye patches and such. Soooo cute and the recipes are great! I like the Undead monkey mango sauce  =)

Close up on the beaded barrettes in action   hehe   I like these soo much.  I bought some material for the swap that I didn't get to use so now its going to be a bandanna. I'm gonna wear these with the bandanna to the premiere in Hollywood. ((I have to go in full dress now, don't I))  I think WYOKrista made these about 2' long. My hair's still longer =D but I think it looks good to have the really long items kinda tucked in there.

She did such a great job on everything. Even tho she said she goofed on the candle, I think it still was pretty darn cool.

Thanks again WYOKrista!!
