I know it isn't homemade, but check out ebay or thrift stores for vintage carryon bags/train cases or smaller suitcases. Sometimes they are really cheap and there are compartments inside to stash doll clothes and the suitcases could even have those little buckles across the bottom to hold the doll in place when she travels. I have a fashion doll I want to get/make a case for and have been considering luggage as an option. If you want to add a homemade touch, you could re-do the inside with some pretty fabric or screenprint or paint a cute motif on the outside.
Good luck! Smiley
3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Doll shoe soles on: September 05, 2009 01:08:54 PM
Does anyone know where you can order/buy doll shoe soles? I have a doll who I have been having a hard time finding shoes for and I thought that maybe I could make him some. I may just have to mould my own, but I really shouldn't be able to justify taking on another craft just to make a pair of shoes. (Hmmm, although I could justify it if I made multiple pairs, no???)
Thanks for the help.

Wow, that is amazing progress in your felting skills! The first one was good, but the second one is incredible. I could compare my work from 2 years ago to my current felting, but hey, one felt ball looks like the next. lol!! Grin

That's funny! And I love that they are hot pink. I should make some itsy bitsy boobies for the bellydancer's coin bra I made for the tiny craft challenge a while back.
