1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Crocheted Headphone Covers! (a tad img heavy) on: November 14, 2006 05:48:55 AM
That's so awesome, and weird, and makes me reminiscent. I used to work at an answering service, and so we crocheted a lot. One day I got the idea to crochet headphone covers and the company bought yarn for us to make these for anyone who wanted them!

Clearly we think alike. This is a good thing =).
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Keyboard key handbag on: July 28, 2006 02:22:07 PM
Okay, so I saw this on a coolhunter.com and I simply *must* have one. Any ideas on how to rig these together? I can't seem to think of a way to sew them onto a bag, since the underside of keyboard keys don't really lend themselves to that kind of thing.

Also, where do you think I could find a source for the keys? This is a weird random thing, but how cool is that?!

3  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Kool aid dyeing on: July 28, 2006 09:17:49 AM
When I was in junior high I had a friend who used kool-aid to dye her hair, but didn't realize that SOME kool-aid comes with sugar and SOME doesn't. Needless to say, she used the kool-aid with sugar and had a sticky mess to deal with! By the time she got all the sugar out, she'd also washed out the dye =(.
