My grandma just gave me her vintage dress form and sadly the instructions on how to use it are missing. It's the kind with mesh. Like this:


I was wondering if anyone has the manual for this one and would be willing to share it. Or knew where to find one online, preferably free.

I finished refinishing my old kitchen table an thought I would post it. Sadly I don't have a before picture but it was pretty worn and beat up after 20 years of abuse from two kids. The legs and under part have 2 coats of black satin paint and the top has two coats of Antique Walnut Satin stain and two coats of a poly-something finish.

Yes. Caution. Meaning if your under 18 don't look. And if you do and get caught by parents or teachers, don't blame me.

A good friend of mine sent me an awesome DVD in the mail and I decided to return the favor and make her something. That something is the lucky vulva coin purse with penis charm. I used the instructions from http://myvag.net/zine/2004summer/luckyvulva/

It's made with four different fabrics. The back is a fun black and tinsel fur. The lining is a blue cotton paisley. The labia majora is black corduroy. The clitorial hood and labia minora are a black and white stripped satin. The labia majora are stuffed with fiberfill to make them puff out. The clitoris is a plastic button that I got out of my Tin 'O Buttons^tm.

The penis is made out of felt and has little brown stiches for the hair. It's stuffed with a tiny bit of fiberfill just to give it some shape.

Okay, so I'm not really dressed as Jane Austen. But I am wearing an 1800 drop front dress. The bodice and sleeves were heavily altered from Simplicity 4022. On to the pictures.
