1  Re: Mystery DMC floss colors (Italian charts) in Needlework: Discussion and Questions by glass_slipper on: January 28, 2012 11:00:36 AM
Yeah, I've been looking at discontinued color lists, but no dice.

Below, I'm sharing pictures of the completed charts, and the floss key. Upon closer inspection, I think the "mystery colors" might be a metallic of some sort, but of what I have no idea. Will try to e-mail DMC in the near future.

2  Can this be fixed? (Paper crease content) in Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions by glass_slipper on: January 06, 2010 12:42:16 PM
I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this or not (and if not, apologies) Anyway, I have a print with a large crease in it, and I was wondering whether it could be fixed or not. I don't even remember how it happened, but I would like to know whether it can be salvaged or not. Thanks.

3  Vintage Button Evening Clutch Purse (few pics) in CHALLENGE 37 ENTRIES by glass_slipper on: April 03, 2009 02:07:37 PM
This clutch started out life as a cosmetics bag that was part of a gift-with-purchase from The Body Shop. I thought it was too nice to simply use to store cosmetics (it's lined with red and pink rose colored fabric), so I put it aside to eventually decorate into something even nicer.

In my craft stash, I also had a small bag of vintage buttons I had received in a swag bag from a recent craft fair. I thought the buttons would work nicely with the bag, but didn't pick a time when I would do my project. Confidently, this challenge came up, and kicked my butt into gear to finally put the buttons and clutch together, and here's the result.

Originally, I wasn't planning on using all the buttons I received, but as I was using them up, decided to see if I could anyway and if it would work (which it did) Pictures below.
