21  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: 2008 12" Squares ~ FEB on: February 28, 2008 06:38:16 AM
I've fallen so behind on this CAL! I haven't done a Feb square yet ... Hopefully I will have a chance in the next couple weeks to whip out a couple. I love the color combinations everyone is using!

Haha, I love the eye! I think I would be a bit squeamish poking pins into it! And I love the cross and frog charms - so pretty!!

Those t-shirts are awesome! I love the peanut stencil. Too cute! And more "moist" goodies ... Everyone has been asking me why I have the word "moist" on my fridge.

my kids have told everyone how a nice lady made them a patty melt for their play kitchen and begged me to thank you, lol.

I figured your kids might get their hands on the patty melt!  Cheesy They are very welcome, because play food is always fun. And keep in mind, it can be a grilled cheese too, depending of course where the cheese is melted ...

I've been checking back every 10 or 15 minutes.  Grin I'm hoping tomorrow everyone's mailboxes are full!

The apron was lots of fun. I didn't actually make the apron itself, but the embroidery took long enough that I might as well have!  Grin Tibeydo, we must have had a mind meld or something, between the cause of death themed items and the scoodie!

Oh, CrochetAdikt, I don't remember if I officially pm'd you that I had received. I think I did, but I don't remember. It's been a long couple of days. Smiley

Tibeydo, I'm so glad you like everything! I was hoping you would get it today so I wouldn't have to wait all weekend to hear what you thought.

Believe it or not, the scoodie was my husband's idea! I was having crafting blockage, and he gave me the idea!! I thought it would make an excellent reaper's hood for you. Smiley And there is NO NEED to feel inadequate. My stuff is sweeeeeeet! CrochetAdikt, you couldn't have assigned me a better partner!

YAY!! Can't wait to see everyone else's stuff!!

Originally, the stitch markers were a set of how the reapers died... and my kids broke the others, one twice. I did have a tiny drill and a tiny leg-warmer.

Ok, I was guessing they were part of a set - you are going to laugh when you open your package then. Great minds think alike!  Cheesy

Ok, here are my fabulous goodies from tibeydo! Tibeydo, you did a really great job finding out what I would like. We even had some similar ideas about what to make, as you will see when you get yours ...

First here's a shot of *most* of the stuff ... a little beading set, POST-ITS!, teensy knitting needles, and a Happy Time "sock" - I'm using it as a camera cozy!

Yes, you see correctly - an autographed picture of Mandy Patinkin in the COOLEST frame! (I had to put it away earlier because my 7 year old sister came over! Smiley

Here's a close up on the stitch markers - the fire one has "Daisy" on the back, and the toilet seat one has "George" on it!

I ALSO got (as if there could be even more!) a grocery tote bag ...

It says "groceries and toilet trees" on it! Get it, get it??

Then there are the super cool felt magnets already on my fridge ...

And finally, a sweet necklace and me being super happy!!

Thank you so much, tibeydo! You even used my favorite colors for the necklace and the frame. Amazing!

Ha, I can't even imagine 5 swaps at a time! I would never be able to keep all of that straight. And on top of that, you are organizing!

And tibeydo, I can't even imagine how there could be anything else. It must be fricking amazing!

My pics are in the gallery now ...

Stupid life is right. I don't think I'll ever join a swap while class is in session again! I bet you made fabulous stuff, inle_rah!
