I haven't posted on here in ages (actually I have barely posted here at all), but I really wanted to show off this baby. Unfortunately, it has a quite sad story attached to it. I made it for a pretty special girl, who was totally excited to get it  (she wanted to wear it at a concert of her band). I had to send it per post as she lives a few hundred kilometers away from here. The last thing I heard from her was that she loved it, but that she hadn't tried it on yet. That was 3 1/2 weeks ago. Since then, nothing. I feel pretty sorry for making and sending it to her now, as i definitely still have a crush on her.
ANYWAY, it was my first try on a corset (i don't even know if it's actually a corset or more of a corsage  ) and took me 3 nights to draw a draft, cut and sew. Didn't use any kind of pattern or tutorial or the like, so of course it's NOT PERFECT. It consists of two layers of black denim and a pretty ugly but very soft green lining. Oh and the lacing in the front was not supposed to stay like this, i just didn't have anything else there when i took those photos.
So here it is:

(the white spot or whatever on the left must have been a reflection of the sunlight.. it definitely wasn't there)

the back. My dressform's physique isn't quite realistic enough to show it off well, but those pictures are the only one on a person i have  my sister tried it on directly before i sent it off though and it looked awesome on her  (so i really don't know why that girl won't answer anymore)

... for my sister's birthday. I have done them a while ago already... but I totally love them.
I used fabric paint and, since I had nothing else, CD markers (for the rubber parts). Most things frawn on them have a special meaning... by the time I made those photos I didn't have long and pretty enough shoe laces yet, but with the black and white checkered ones they have now, they are looking really cute. I just hope she's not going to wear them too much because white shoes + rain + mud or dirty snow = not so good.

Ok, so this is my very first post on here...

I am going to see my all time favourite band Indochine next saturday in Strasbourg and am really excited already even though my last Indo concert was only in august.
Just as last time, I decided to make a dress for this event. Since most people will be dressing in black, my dress should stick out a bit so it's red-black-white now. Also, their last album and the stage deco have been somewhat influenced by Alice in Wonderland so I came up with this dress...

The design on the front is unfortunately not mine...

And one of the sleeves which are attached to the dress with an elastic that leeds through the upper part of the sleeves, because they look quite strange in the first pic:

I had a look at Lamby's gothic lolita dress before and during the making of the dress and changed some things like the skirt.
Please excuse the bad and BIG pictures, my ugly face and the not rightly pulled up sleeves, btw, but when I made them it was like 4AM
