I'm making a hat for a friend of mine and while increasing, I added an extra row of stitches

. Now instead of going from 24 in the first row to 36 in the next row, I am going from 24 to 48 in the next row. And my hat edges are curling at the sides! So, my question is if I keep going on with my wonky hat and do normal increases from here on, will it be a larger version of the original pattern or will it just continue to be wonky

? My friend has a pretty large head so it wouldn't be too much of a problem if it came out larger than usual

!
Thanks!!
