1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: santa pants for my guy... xmas dress for goddaughter on: December 19, 2006 06:32:36 AM
Quote
it helps that i make all of his pants a size bigger than they say to, but he tends to do active stuff in them that gets them broken.

hehe... that cracks me up... sorry, but I have the sickest mind ever.

On a less disturbing note, LOVE the pants - totally Santa. And love the dress - awesome, funky, who can resist silvery stars..?

I love it... and it kinda goes with your tatoo too  Wink
3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Re-Vamped Chess Board! on: October 30, 2006 11:02:10 AM
I LOVE it so much!! I looks so easy to do - i have at least a million old chess boards lying in my house of varying sizes that I would benefit greatly from revamping and putting  back into use. My dad's like a complete chess fanatic and he would love them even more! I can't believe I never thought of this - its so pretty AND practical! Great job - you officially rock!
4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Painted classical guitar! on: October 12, 2006 02:03:18 AM
As a classical guitarist, I have to say that I absolutely love it, and if i were receiving it from a loved one (regardless of whether it can be played) I would be jumping over the moon! Great job!!
5  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Re: Gr8 website to get some designer logos from... on: October 10, 2006 07:34:36 AM
sorry, i just come from the side where i don't see the use (or the craftyness, for that matter) in blatantly ripping off designer logos, even for your own use, and infringing on someone's copyright and ruining it for the folks who have legitimate uses for them.  better to be original.  even if you can't be original, getting inspired to copy a piece of clothing design is one thing, putting a fake designer logo all over your clothes to look expensive...eh.  Roll Eyes

As someone who somewhat wholeheartedly agrees but has a desperately shallow side of her that will always make the most of fake designer stuff, i will still say with utmost hypocrisy "hear hear!"
6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: I finally made an Infinity Dress!!!! on: October 09, 2006 08:04:53 AM
I think it looks fabulous on you, the stripes, the colour, everything! I especially like the 1st, 2nd and 5th looks... i really think they suit your body well!
7  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Beauty Sercrets Here on: October 08, 2006 01:18:02 AM
When it comes to bleaching facial hair, i would recommend getting a professional - i would get seriously freaked out if i tried a home-made bleach on my face for fear of disfigurement and/or lifelong humiliation...
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: $5 Invader Zim Shirt into Pretty Dress and Matching Wristwarmers :D (IMG heavy) on: October 04, 2006 05:52:37 AM
I LOVE it... but... excuse me for the weirdness and inapporopriateness of this question... are you wearing any form of underwear under that? Coz from the side view you can only see skin.. unless I'm blind (which is most probable).
9  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Slug Bug cake on: October 03, 2006 02:26:03 AM
OMG that is too freaky, my mom ALWAYS made a different car for me on my birthday until i was like 10... and then she continued it with my sisters, only for them it was a different Barbie doll each time (they're twins but they still got one cake ha ha...)

Anyways, that is super cute, and brings back great memories of my own!!
