1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: painting with cone filled with paint on: October 17, 2006 01:46:40 PM
I do this exact thing.  What I use is a Jacquard bottle - a small whitish plastic 1 oz bottle with steel tip, meant for applying gutta for silk painting - filled with Liquitex's Basics Matte.  It works perfectly. Smiley  (I stole it from my henna stash.)

If you use a plastic bag, make sure the hole in the corner is infintesimal - more comes out than you'd think!

4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Verb Swap Gallery on: October 09, 2006 12:21:02 PM
I haven't posted my goodies yet since I'm still waiting on my mailman to deliver part #2 of my swap, but I'll be on the ball as soon as it's on my doorstep.  The first part that radioactivecrafter sent me is soooo faboo - my daughter and I have been having mock fights over it all week! Cheesy

(And you all scored so awesomely, too - wish I'd been able to get more than one partner for this swap! Cheesy)

Squee!  Thanks for the compliments!  I'm glad that it was well received, especially since it only took me three days to get the bunch done.  Cheesy  I sat in front of my various stashes and tried to see how I could make random objects fit the verb.

I can't wait to see what I'm getting... muahahaha!

8  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Completed Projects / Re: My CHEAPY MOD PODGE screens !! on: August 31, 2006 07:34:22 AM
I never knew Mod Podge would work for screens... Did you add anything to the Podge (and what kind), or did you use it straight?  And what did you use for mesh?  I want to try this when I get a free moment! Smiley

Attention!!

If you haven't heard from your partner, try sending another PM.  Both Radioactivecrafter and I had PMs on Monday that didn't go through for some reason or another. Smiley
