Wow. I've always found that sewing things in miniature is more of a challenge than making them in adult sizes. Your friend should really be relieved to find this out! Good job to both of you!

You have a real talent with shapes! I have two questions: Are the clothes uncomfortable because of the tape? I thought duct tape was pretty expensive. How much would a vest like the last picture cost to make? (Just curious.)

I let the pre-teen youth group at church use my sewing machine before Christmas last year and was amazed. The boys took off, sewing with the pedal to the floor, while the girls were downright timid. I finally realized it was because it was a machine. You kilt's top-stitching is amazing. You must have sewn before, just not a kilt, right?!  Really good job!

I agree--leave the dress as a halter; it's very flattering on you. It is hard to adjust a garment to fit as well as this one does...congratulations! Cheesy
