That's FABULOUS.

Silly question-- did you make the puzzle too, or did you alter the pieces of an existing puzzle?

No, I altered an existing Pooh puzzle that I got at the dollar store.

Thanks!  Off to the dollar store NOW!

Even though my stash is big enough to supply the 12 colonies, I'm shopping for supplies.

24  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Lace Leaf Capelet and Danica from Winter '05 Knitty on: June 18, 2010 11:04:13 PM
I've been busy working on lots of knitting swap projects and now that they're finally all arrived at their new homes, I can share pictures!

I made this Lace Leaf Capelet for my partner in the Yarnies Scavenger Hunt.  I used about 400 yards of super bulky wool which created a warm, heavy capelet that would be perfect to wear in cool fall evenings or throughout winter.  It was a pretty quick knit, despite its size, and the pattern was pretty easy to follow.

For the Be Awesome swap, I knitted Danica (from Knitty's Winter '05 issue).  I settled down for a weekend and between the end of work on Friday and the evening on Sunday, I had finished!

Lovely workmanship and color choices. Inspiring!
