842  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / My Version of the Phat Pant! on: August 16, 2006 07:14:16 AM
Well I guess you could classify this as a recunstruction project. I cut the legs off of an old pair of jeans and sewed old bed sheets around the legs. Then cut out designs from another bed sheet and sewed them onto the but pocket and one on the front pocket!

These pants were constructed about 2 months ago for a party that my BF was djing at. My friends and I got dressed up.. the party was called Way back when, So we dessed up like the old school ravers.. plus I just love the pants. They flow so well during dancing and I didnt step on the legs once. I still wear them out ocassionaly!

and here is the shot that was taken of me and my friends!

thats the back
and that's the front + one of my kitties
843  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / My NeW BAnDaNA! on: August 16, 2006 06:39:48 AM
So I have just completed my bandana. I got up and thought, might as well get that out of the way. So here she is

Sorry for the bad images, I dont have a digital camera yet so I have to deal with my web cam.  SO this is what it looks like laying flat, th strings on the sides are very long, which u cant see so that they can tye easily in the back and still dangle down pretty far.

This is the back/side

and there is one with the tying divices. They're actually a bit longer then what u see there.

enjoy! Grin

Though i am getting a new commercial singer in a few weeks.. oh i cant wait!! I say go for er, if you notice anything wierd happening be careful, and if you really want to call your local sewing machine seller and see if they do toon ups for old machines. getting the gears and things is always a good idea!!

847  CRAFTSTER CRAFT CHALLENGES / Craftster Craft Challenge Theme Ideas, Etc. / Most unique project! on: August 03, 2006 12:25:19 PM
Crafters could find the most random objects, and make something completely bazaar and fun out if it. or they could create something completely off the wall and hilarious. Wether it's something functional or not is up to you.
I thought that this would be a fun idea, where you can use the awesome imaginations that you have, and come up with something no one else ever has!  Grin
