I tried this pattern too.  As I recall the pattern is slightly off, like they put the * in the wrong place or something.  I just kind of looked at what I had done so far and followed a similar sequence to finish.  I kind of figured out the halfway point for the side and then reversed it to finish.  Don't know if that helps you or not.  I only ended up making 1 "cup" because they turned out huge.  (which would probably work for me, I'm a D cup)  But I thought maybe I'd turn it into a halter top instead.  Maybe I'll get around to it eventually.

Found this on another site:

2 packages of oriental ramen noodles
3/4 stick of Margarine
3 T sesame seeds
5 oz slivered almonds
& I like adding sunflower nuts

crush noodles in pack... take out seasoning pack.
Brown raw noodles in margarine till light brown.
They brown quick so keep stirring & watch!
add seeds & almond & brown to a richer brown.
Sprinkle 1 package of seasoning mix. (save the other for another time)
lightly keep browning for only about a min.
cool & ENJOY!!! Just try to keep your hands out of the bag!!!

For the buttons, try http://www.badge-a-minit.com.  Or if you look around in the crafts mags you should be able to find an ad for them.  Their starter kit is just $30-40.  I've had one for years.  I believe this is actually what she was using in the movies to make the buttons.

The wires you are looking for are called kidney wires.  If you can't find them at your local Michael's, etc., I purchased a bunch of sterling silver findings from www.monsterslayer.c om.  You can get 10 pair for $1.50 or 100 pair for $11.00.
