This is a brand new card I designed. I used water oil based ink for the red one and water based ink for the green one.

I've been enjoying making pocket books these days. It's so fun when you can design your own cover image and make it extra special:D

They are all hand printed by me~

3  Re: my hand carved rubber stamps collection! in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by Redpolka on: November 02, 2006 11:14:10 AM
Thanks! Yes I have tons of pics on my flickr and they are pretty big. I will choose some to post here and also you can check out my flickr site

Here are my trees!

The jacket stamp

This is actually a linocut. I designed this character for a rubber stamp at the beginning but I ran out of carving block so I had to use  lino block....so much harder to carve

Hope you like them and I'd love to see yours if you are into carving your own rubber stamps!

Bye Bye Black Bird

Night Flight

Birds Eye View

To create these ACEO, I used a combination of image transfering, printmaking and masking. The bird image is created using a stamp that I hand carved. The map I used is the map for vancouver Transit system(since I use the public transit everyday, I do have a strong and mixed feeling for it).

7  Re: my acrylic paintings in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by Redpolka on: July 29, 2006 11:27:38 PM
This one is not a painting.....it's a collage I did for my first art course when I was in college.
I call it "life is a city by the sea".
I cut out a pencil sketch of my legs and stick it in the lower center:D
