2  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / The Redwalls on: July 24, 2005 10:14:40 AM
Okay. So, there's this insanely awesome band called The Redwalls, right? Right.
So. I have this insanely awesome friend. Who loves The Redwalls as well.
So, I present to you: The Redwalls shirt. Round one. [I may have to re-do it, if i can't find a way to get the sticker paper off]

Pardon the camera cord, sorry!
I used sticker paper, and some of it won't come off. I tried peeling it off, and then lightly running my exacto knife over it, but it ripped slightly. Anyone have any suggestions? I'd love your feedback.
Edit:: I washed it, and it came out fine. yay.

I have to go back and fix lines around the box, although i'm really happy with the results of the letters, they were so annoying to cut out!  Angry

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Green halter with German saying on it on: February 16, 2005 09:10:59 AM
So, my first try at a halter was sucessful   Grin I made it out of a t-shirt i found for 2.00 at kohls, and sewed this piece of fabric with "Mach mit-- Deiner Umwelt zuliebe" written above a tree. I looked it up on some translating site and it said something about the environment. Anyways, the shirt:

7  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Pink FLoyd Shirt for a friend on: December 31, 2004 06:32:31 AM
For Christmas, my friend asked if I would paint him a t-shirt, which he said he'd like to have the prism picture from Dark side of the moon on it. So using my crafty abilities, a 4$ t from target, fabric paint, a ruler and a 'pink floyd' stencil i made... I came up with this:

the back:

I'm really pleased with how it came out, the front could have been cleaner with nicer lines. Ah but oh well, he was pleased, and he said now his dad wants me to make him one... haha

10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / hippie-ish shirt and hemp belt on: November 29, 2004 02:14:06 PM
Alright, so last night, instead of doing my math homework Embarrassed I made these lovely creations.
The shirt is fabric remnants from michaels, the ribbon is from michaels as well..(i'm sure you can guess where i went and spent most of the contents of my wallet at Wink )
http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-9/841939/Hippieshirtbelt(21).JPG
sorry if the pics suck, i havent yet been able to learn how to take more detailed pictures with mirrors, etc.
oh also its handsewn, as moms machine is broken  Sad and i don't posses the patience to wait till it gets fixed.

the belt is just LOTS of hemp... i've learnt now that working with long strands is VERY tedious. gah, kept getting tangled, etc etc. but i think i am going to put beads on it to make it more spiffy.
