4  the bench ( pics!) in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by vintageoceaner on: November 28, 2004 06:15:59 AM
well ive had this bench-thing for about a year now and it never occured to me to post pictures of my lovely creation.
I made it a few summers ago, with the help of my mom (i am never good with measurements) and dad (who doesnt trust me with a saw...hmmm i wonder why... Huh Wink )
The frame is just 2x4's, underneath it to hold the cushion in is a piece of board i found in the garage, and the cushion is just foam from joann fabric's covered in that awesome fabric (havent sewn it on yet, but it stays put tucked underneath)
 Cheesy

I took a sharpie to the wood one day, wrote lots of random lyrics on it, etc etc, this is just a close up of some damien rice.

peace  Wink

5  R.E.M rocks my shirt in Stenciling: Completed Projects by vintageoceaner on: November 15, 2004 03:50:01 AM
( i posted this in a different section already, hopefully thats not a problem...)
Oy, so this is my new favorite shirt that i've made. I used photo paper and that craft adhesive for like scrapbooking or whatever. I'm very happy with the results because this is my first stencil of a person, and its turned out great.

and now, the R.E.M shirt Smiley

-the R.E.M shirt.

I am debating whether to put lyrics on the back. My neighbors say I should put "What's the frequency, Kenneth" because my principle is named Kenneth. haha. Hmm I shall have to see. Anyways, enjoy.
Happy crafting,
k Grin

pardon me if this isnt the right place to post this...but anyways..
just finished with this, i owe a great big thanks to my dear dad, he assisted me in the torching and bending of the fork handle (i was trying to make a fork bracelet like ive seen before since ive already done the spoon, but it didnt work, so i cut it off and then proceeded to make a ring)

sorry, the pictures are crappy, the lighting in my kitchen is terrible.
