21  Paul Frank Postery thing... in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by stargirl52 on: January 15, 2005 09:06:04 PM
Well, my friend Hannah got a HUGE wad of pf notepaper last Xmas, and by Notepaper, I mean pieces of paper with julius's face on them. It all started with a doodle during a boring lesson- but now, it is *pause for suspense* my beloved PF postery thing...

It is made from 63 pieces of notepaper, mounted on cardboard and laminated (by a machine at my dad's work because it was too big for a normal one).

A close-up of a few favourites of mine- (left to right, top to bottom), evil convict guy, zombie-ish person, good clown, evil clown, girly thingy, french artiste, (tops of these ones) skody girl, native maori w/ moko (only NZers or people that know lots about NZ will get that).
About 4 or 5 of us were doodling on these- I'm not sure how long it took us, because we weren't really working on it all the time.

23  Blue Dotty Skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by stargirl52 on: January 15, 2005 08:04:33 PM
I made this skirt from a 35 cent dress (opshop), and a bit of an old mens' button down shirt. I would wear it every day if the weather wasn't playing tricks on us.

The aforementioned dress... It was about 2 metres too big for me....

Scuze the stomach pudge on the last one...

24  Tape Measure Belt. in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by stargirl52 on: January 15, 2005 04:26:55 PM
I'm not sure whether this is in the right place...
One of my friends paid $30 for what appeared to be a reinforced tape measure with a buckle. So, being a craftster, I made my own.
The buckle cost me nothing, as it came from my collection of vintage buckles and buttons. The tape measure was a couple of dollars from a sewing shop. I still havent cut the little metal thing off the buckle, and excuse the bad pictures. It looks upside down AND backwards, because i took it in a mirror, but it is only upside down in reality.

It is sorta more decorative than anything else, but i feel special that i saved $28 Cheesy
EDIT: I think i got the pics working...
