1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / coasters! on: September 17, 2007 02:58:17 PM
hello everybody
this year i'm going to be making presents for
every single relative i have..
eek!
i was thinking of buying tiles from home depot, gluing cork to the
back and transfering an image onto it with turpentine.
i was thinking that the images could be snowflakes!
but i can't find black and white snowflake images.. (that sort of have a vintage-y rustic-y feel to them
could you possibly suggest a website?
thanks Smiley

4  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Please Help! URGENT!! (Tomato Sauce Problem!) on: February 02, 2007 12:16:32 PM
My sister and I are making supper, and we're making homemade pizza.
We need to make tomato sauce, and are having a bit of trouble. I found a recipe on the internet which reads:

***Pizza Sauce***
6 ounces can tomato paste
1/2 cup wine or water
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil or olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoon parmesan cheese

We tried it out, and when we tasted it, it was disgusting! So we started over but we tried to make a variation of it ourselves. We put in the tomato paste, water, oregano, a bit of salt, oil and a bit of sugar. It still tastes disgusting. It is really bitter and sour. We don't have another can of tomato paste so how can we get this sauce to taste good? PLEASE HELP!! Thank you!

I'm making a plain black tote bag and wanted to put some cool embelishments on there but i have no idea what to put. I was thinking a bow or a skull or something.. (except i don't know how i would make the skull ..  Huh)   Any ideas?

By the way.. my style is kind of punky if that helps with ideas.
