11  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Party Decorating for 19th birthday on: July 20, 2004 06:16:01 PM
Ya...

I have to get the house ready for a 19th birthday party. There will be a white tent set out in the backyard and such. There will be hot pink and black streamers and Christmas lights all around the basement and a black light set up. Any suggestions? I would like to make some of the decorations.
12  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Bunch of Short Tanks on: July 06, 2004 09:50:43 AM
Hey everyone!! Yea...I have a bunch of tank tops that are a lil bit on the short side and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. hmm...

I was considering maybe adding some sort of fabric to the end of them or lace or something...or something similar to the bottom of a faerie skirt, but to a shirt...whatcha think? Any ideas?

I don't have a photo...but my friend Bridget came to Youth Group with the most amazing tank a few weeks ago!! She made it herself too!! She took a regular tank...wife beater...whatever you want to call it, lol...and she sewed colorful buttons below the chest. It was so cute!! Thinking here...does that make sense? I might draw it out...it went across the chest, but below...lol! It was so cute!! I will definitely make one and post it asap!!!  Wink

16  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Road Sign Skirt Complete!!! on: June 16, 2004 04:26:46 PM
Hello everyone!! Yes, I finally came around to finishing my skirt! lol. It has the one pleat on the left side and the t-shirt wasteband, however, it's a lot different from the other skirts you are all making. lol. It was my second skirt ever, so it's not the best, but I think it turned out pretty well! lol...considering that I hand stitched it completely because my sewing machine doesn't like me anymore. lol!  Enjoy!! Please comment!!  Cheesy Oh yeah...this skirt was made from a road side curtain, lol, that I bought at Good Will!! Isn't it darling? lol. *giddy* lol.

17  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / help... on: June 13, 2004 12:54:22 PM
Hey!! I'm really into modest clothing and I need some ideas!!

I love Capris, but they all seen to be the same style. I was thinking about a cute thick wasteband, but then the capris wouldn't be like skin tight, lol...they would kinda flare out...or baggy type...

I'm thinking kinda skater/classy? Ya know what I mean? Something that would look cute with sneakers and a t-shirt. lol. Does this make any sense?

Ya, this one didn't turn out as well as I thought it would, but it looks very nice.

All you do is take an old tote bag, etc. and get some fabric...totally forgot what the fabric is called.
You want to print it out from your computer and then varnish it on both sides.
Then pretty much all you have to do is super glue it and add any type of beads or fabric ribbon things to it.  Cheesy It will look absolutely darling!!

Yeah, I look high in that pic. Oh well. lol.
