1  Re: Christmas Stocking Swap 2 in The Swap Gallery by Aezelle on: December 05, 2006 11:04:17 PM
So many wonderful things going on here! Really creative ideas.
Ok I'm going to post what I sent to Ceilidh and what I received from her. Warning there are a lot of pics here.

This is what I sent her
This is a pic of everything. The stocking, I made a stencilled singlet, lollipops, chocolate, tea, a painted little jewellery box, a painted photo frame, a little hand bound book and some jewellery. I also attempted to make some lip balm which didn't make this photo and some simple wine glass charms.

This is my poor stocking, the frame and the box.

This is the shrinky dink jack skellington earrings.

This is the earrings that I like  Grin

This is a necklace that I kind of made up as I went along. It was based on a similiar one which I can't find the original eepss.

I just put a few photos up. Here are some from what I received!!
This is a pic of everything! She knitted my stocking! Eee!! So awesome! And she made this fantastic advent calender, some decorated decorations, some chocolate and candy canes, some craft items, a little pencil case, a pretty butterfly stencil, a mixed cd.

A pic of the decorations she decorated and the bought santa. And a little velvet drawstring pouch. So cute!

This is the stencilled singlet. It was her first one! The little pencil case and mixed cd.

The very cute stocking in pink and black a fave combo of mine.

And this is the advent calender. It can't show all the detail but it is soo good.

Thanks again SevsOnlyGirl for organizing and to Ceilidh for the swap package!

Here are the pics of what I received from Knitchick1979. A digital camera is the best 21st present  Grin Oh and my mum says your very creative and talented Mary Jo. She was really impressed  Grin

This is the whole lot together and I will put some separate photos too.

This is the bag. The image is beautiful! I love how it's printed onto the fabric. I love this bag. The inside lining is hot pink with black polka dots. I love both pink and polka dots!! I seem to love a lot of things  Cheesy

This is the book box. I've always wanted one of these  Grin

These are the marble magnets. Sorry the pic isnt very clear. There are 2 Peter ones, Aslan and Lucy. They're some of my fave characters. Marble magnets are another thing I have wanted! I can't seem to find the marble things here in Australia.

There is a phone/bag charm, a keychain, a bookmark. All so beautiful and pink. The charms are so cute and sweet. Tiny crowns, lion (Aslan), unicorn (Jewel) and a tiny frame with Peter  Grin

Here are some earrings, necklace and bracelet. Again these are beautiful and pink with cute charms.

So I want to say thanx again so much Mary Jo you added all the little things like the unicorn charm, the little heart with the necklace. There was just so much thought. Thanx for making my first swap a wonderful experience  Grin

I really hope these work. Here is what I sent to knitchick. Sorry they are thumbnails. But there are a lot of pics.

This is the Susan doll I attempted. It's my first doll and I had to sew by hand so it's probably not the best sewing attempt.

This is the box with Aslan, a favourite scene from the movie on the front.

This is the inside of the box. The other photo is of the Pevensies when they were grown up.

This is a few other things. A foam Aslan notebook, a smallish bought notebook and stickers, some Turkish Delight chocolate and there are a few postcards from where I'm from.

There are two bound books using some Narnia paper for the cover. I'm still a beginner at this. The others are a few coin purses I sewed to put things in.

This is the jewellery I sent.

This is a close up of the clay jewellery with pics of the kids from the movie. The blue necklace broke just before sending so it was actually on a silver chain.

This was to represent the Lucy healing cordial. It's a tiny vial filled with food dyed water.

This is another clay pendant with a pic of Lucy and Tumnus. The other is a little pic of Lucy in a mini frame.

So thats it. A lot of photos but in thumbnail form. And hope it works. Sorry for long post.

4  My lil felt coin purses in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Aezelle on: July 20, 2006 10:43:44 PM
This is the first time I will be posting something I have made. They are little coin purses made from felt. They are handsewn as I don't really know how to use a sewing machine.

I hope that works

Thanks  Grin
