1  POPEYE the Sailor Man - TOOT TOOT in Halloween Costumes by Jenoware on: November 01, 2006 10:23:26 AM
My 2 1/2 year old son is obsessed with Popeye... so that's what he decided to be for Halloween.
I bought the hat, corn cob pipe, and the "muscle" tee (I did add the tattoo). The blue shirt is just a store bought tee with the sleeves rolled up and brass buttons attached to the front. Made the white pants and the spinach bag.
So here he is in all his POPEYE GLORY...

2  Popeye Nap Mat in Completed Projects by Jenoware on: October 17, 2006 07:00:07 PM
My 2 1/2 yr old son is obsessed with Popeye, so image my surprise when I happened upon this Popeye fleece just hanging out at Hancock Fabrics. I made him a super cool nap mat for Mother's Day Out. Made pillow too.

Oh and he is going to be  Popeye for Halloween. I am making the costume and I'll post that when I'm done.

3  New Knitter... First 3 scarves in Knitting: Completed Projects by Jenoware on: October 15, 2006 07:47:06 PM
Ok... I know... they're nothing to impressive, but I'm pretty proud of them. My sis-in-law taught me to knit about a month ago and here are some pics of what I have completed so far. All done with just plain ol garter stich but I figure I will master that and get used to the needles and them move on to others.

4  Re: 2005 Completed Costumes Scrapbook (completed projects with pictures go here) in Halloween Costumes by Jenoware on: September 15, 2006 03:15:13 PM
The mini-Jason in the middle is my son (18 mo at the time). Freddy and the Power Ranger are cousins. My husband picked the costume idea and I made the jumpsuit. We got lots of laughs!

5  Last years Cmas stockings in Winter Holidays by Jenoware on: September 15, 2006 02:37:28 PM
Long time lurker finally getting around to posting some things I've made.
These are the stockings I made last year to match the table runner I fell in love with. I eventually had our names monogrammed to the white part in a green that matches the trim.
Just wanted to share them... I feel like a proud mom.

6  Boo! Easy Chair Covers in Halloween Decor and Parties by Jenoware on: September 15, 2006 02:17:33 PM
Made these chair covers. Got idea from Family Fun mag. Use dollar store white pillow cases. Then used black felt for eyes and mouth. Just a quick run through the sewing machine and you have it. It's that easy.
