I don't mean to sound rude or mean I just don't want you or craftster to get in trouble where it can be avoided.

no one in this forum can sound rude or mean... after all we are here to help each other.

Ive already mentioned which book it is and the patterns are easy to follow and change where needed i would put up pics but its for a swap and I've already given away what it is I don't want to give away what it actually look like  Grin  so you guys will have to wait for that Grin

Just thought I'd let you know that I don't think you can post a modified pattern from a book. Even if you modify it the pattern still legally belongs to the publisher.........

well all I did was read over it and to see how it was made I used a different amount of stitches and rows and increased where I thought it would be best for my poppet, i used my own brain to work out the hood Grin, the only thing I actually took from the pattern was how many stitches to  increase and decrease to shape the arms...... the arms on the hoodie I made are shorter and the body is longer, and the hood needed to be wider and longer  Cheesy

not to sure where that puts me legally with regards to the copyrights  Huh

Thanks for letting me know  Smiley

I'm in the poppet swap r3 and boy is it giving me a kick up the rear!!!!

I made my first about 5 months ago and then I started another head.... and that's it I never finished the second one and I never got round to making clothes properly (I acquired them from some of my daughters other dolls) but now i have a whole new obsession....... I've manage to find suitable material from my stash (I didn't know I even had it ....hmm wounder if I should sort through my stash Grin) a dark green which I'm hoping to make a boy poppet for my son and a red wine colour which I'm hoping will actually be mine!!!!  oh and I'm about to finish the head.......

and I've found a book that with slight modifications to the pattern will make knitted clothes for poppets I'm just going through it myself and making the more suitable ones as I go along and making pencil marks to say where the changes.

When I have time I will post the modified patterns on the poppet clothing board... or if your interested the book is Toys to Knit and the auther is Tracy Chapman.
