yes  i did follow a pattern but the shoes where my own with a little help from the original pattern

yes she is with the exception of the shoes they are knitted and in teh book they tell you to do them crochet...... i think!!!!! i dont have the book any more......

the hair is really simple i cant remember the name of the knot so ive just done some small pics to explain

You should get a scrap of tulle and make her a tutu. Smiley I bet it would be cute if you made your daughter a matching outfit, too.

yes i have been looking out for some pink tulle to make her a tutu..... i never thought about making her a matching outfit
but now its been suggested.......hhh hhmmmmmmmm

knitted doll i made for my daughter (also posted in knitting section)



she is around 20inches tall and come with removeable wrap top knickers and shoes

i have now been told by my 4 year old she doesnt have enough clothes or any friends .........

this a a cardigan ive knitted for my cousins'  new baby but it wont fit her until around sept/oct when it starts to get a little chilly




where you see the three yellow head pins there will be small purple buttons ...eventually

it was made from wool a had in my stash after i found a huge bag full hidden behind my sofa!!!!!

i think ill go do another one .........post soon!!!!

    After a few hours thinking and convincing myself to make another ive now changed my mind and instead i am now doing a matching blanket!!!!!!   post soon

hey this is my first knitted doll and im really proud of it
she was made for my daughter who hasnt let it go out of her sight since (except to take this picture which i had to do while she was sleeping) and has been named.... Barbie....
shes around 20 inches maybe a bit more
she comes with removeable clothes and shoes!!

i used the back of the skirt for the back of the jacket and i cut out the front pieces from the front of the skirt keeping the hem from the bottom of the skirt (i hate doing hems so it just made sense to me)
