I posted this in the crochet section and aftersome consideration i think it would also suit to being the shoes section

these are a pair of slippers i made from scratch for my son  using an old  coat for the sole (faux suede) and foot lining (faux fur) sewn them together then created the holes to crochet around using chunky yarn.

i saw something like these in my local shoe shop for £25 ( i think thats about $50)  i decided i couls make my own this is the end result






not as perfect as the shop bought but after some 'few pairs of'  practice im sure i'll get there

what do you think?

Heres a hoodie i made for my 4 year old 



unfortunatly...... its to tight around her body and arms (first attempt at knitting with out a pattern) so i cant do an action shot for you but it does fit her in the length .....so i got one thing right ...... 

i did these a few weeks back to make a start on my winter collection!
These were done without a pattern i just measured on my hand as i went along







they are abit big around the wrist the next set i do i will be making them more fitted

I love the outfit.  How did you attach her hair?

the hair is really simple i cant remember the name of the knot so ive just done some small pics to explain

she is around 20inches tall and come with removeable wrap top knickers and shoes

i have now been told by my 4 year old she doesnt have enough clothes or any friends .........

this a a cardigan ive knitted for my cousins'  new baby but it wont fit her until around sept/oct when it starts to get a little chilly




where you see the three yellow head pins there will be small purple buttons ...eventually

it was made from wool a had in my stash after i found a huge bag full hidden behind my sofa!!!!!

    After a few hours thinking and convincing myself to make another ive now changed my mind and instead i am now doing a matching blanket!!!!!!   post soon

hey this is my first knitted doll and im really proud of it
she was made for my daughter who hasnt let it go out of her sight since (except to take this picture which i had to do while she was sleeping) and has been named.... Barbie....
shes around 20 inches maybe a bit more
she comes with removeable clothes and shoes!!
