I just finished a similar hat today, with the same wool (with a different color, mine is brown) and nearly the same cables. I made the pattern up myself, too. Thats funny. Smiley

So, needless to say: I like your hat!  Grin

Thank you all for your comments. I'm really happy you like it Smiley

No, i didn't use a pattern, i made it with the help of my dress form. But i'm sure there are similar patterns around.

I got the fabric at a small market where lots of turkish sellers are. They have all kinds of fabric and stuff and if you're lucky you find something special. I thought about using bedclothes first, there are lots of disney prints for children, but when i saw the dalmatian fabric i knew it had to be this one.

Hallo (or "Moin" as people say where i live) everyone,

so i finally registered here after reading a lot and seeing all of your stuff. Now its time i show you some of mine Smiley
I sew for quite some time now and made a lot of stuff, but this is something i like especially.
It's a dress made out of fabric with 101 dalmations print. I guess its for children but i like it anyway, it's kind of retro Wink. I tried to give the dress a fifties look, the skirt is a full circle. It has a zipper at the side.
